Privacy
Cast Chain has no accounts, no cookies and no analytics. This page says what it does keep, and what leaves your device. Last updated 4 November 2026.
What stays on your device
The game saves a few things in your browser's local storage so you can come back to a puzzle:
- your progress on each daily puzzle: the actors you named, hints used, misses and undos
- which days you won, so the game can count your streak
- whether you have already seen the how to play dialog
None of this is sent anywhere. Free play saves nothing at all. To remove it, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
What leaves your device
Loading a page asks our host for files, as with any website. The site is served by Cloudflare, which receives your IP address and the usual request details in order to deliver the page, and may keep technical logs as any host does. We run no server code of our own, and we do not see or store those logs.
Actor photos load straight from TMDB (image.tmdb.org). That means TMDB receives your IP address and browser details when the photos load. The fonts are hosted here, not by a third party.
What we do not do
- no accounts or sign in
- no cookies
- no analytics, tracking or advertising
- no selling or sharing of data, because we do not collect any
The Copy result button puts the share text on your clipboard. Nothing is sent when you press it.
Contact

Credits
Film data and actor photos come from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
If this changes
If Cast Chain ever adds something that collects data, such as anonymous score statistics, this page will be updated before it ships.
